Brio Living Services Names Julie Korson as New Chief Financial Officer
Brio Living Services announces that, following an extensive search, Julie Korson has been promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer for the organization, effective September 1, 2026. Korson has worked for the organization for nearly twenty years. She replaces Kalen Carlson, Brio’s CFO since 2023.
“Julie’s appointment is well-earned,” said Steve Fetyko, Brio’s President & CEO. “For nearly twenty years, she has been a trusted and valued member of the Brio, and formerly Porter Hills, Finance team, bringing exceptional knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, billing, financial systems, reporting, and team culture. Her steady leadership, institutional knowledge, and commitment to excellence have helped strengthen our organization and support our mission.”
In her new role, Julie will lead the Brio Finance team and help set the strategic direction for Brio’s finance functions, including accounting, billing, treasury management, payables, forecasting, and analysis.
“After serving in a variety of for-profit sectors, my heart was quickly captured by every interaction within the not-for-profit senior living and aging services industry,” said Korson. “I continue to be amazed and proud of the variety of options available at Brio for those we serve.”

Beyond her professional contributions, Julie supports her community through volunteer roles with public school systems, a local board of education, the Humane Society, and local churches. She holds a Master of Science degree in business administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Louisville.
