Faith-Based, NonProfit Difference
Driven by service, powered by our values, we put people first — and it shows.
Brio Living Services was founded on a faith-based, nonprofit service model, and this person-centered approach has never wavered. Brio enjoys a long-standing relationship with the United Methodist Church and Presbyterian Church through our Porter Hills heritage and have always been guided by the Christian values of respect, compassion, diversity, generosity, partnership, and service. While we are guided by our Christian heritage, we are accepting of and open to all, regardless of faith or any aspect of human diversity. We welcome all older adults to access our services, affirming our guiding belief of inclusiveness.
Brio Living Services is also distinguished by a continuing commitment to operate as a nonprofit organization governed by a community board. This allows us to prioritize the needs of the people we serve rather than the monetary goals of far-flung investors. If we end a year with excess revenue, it is reinvested in the company to improve the quality and breadth of services we offer, not distributed to shareholders.
For example, we employ more team members to support and assist residents than many other senior living communities. We train our team members to a higher level and provide them with better benefits, enhancing their skills, commitment, and sense of pride to deliver superior service to older adults and families.
