Getting To Know Dementia - FREE Community Training

Throughout six consecutive sessions, attendees will understand the brain changes that occur due to a form of dementia, and how to differentiate these symptoms from normal aging or a high-stress lifestyle.

Learn how to provide the right support for your loved one with tips such as:
• Visual, verbal, and touch cues
• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Continuing to connect with your loved one,
no matter what stage they may be in

Anyone who is interested in learning more
about dementia, such as family members,
care aides or students, health care
professionals, volunteers, faith communities,
and the general public are welcome to attend!
